Recycled UPVC windows. What are they? “UPVC windows” and “environmentally friendly” do not sound like they go together but at Croft we beg to differ. Croft Conservatories recycle all the windows and doors we replace to ensure we are doing our part to help the environment by working with specialist recycling companies.
We strive to be the best when it comes to craftsmanship and service and we believe this is another reason to trust Croft with your next new windows, door, conservatory or orangery. You can be reassured that you will not find our waste contributing the growing problem of plastic in the sea or landfill sites.
Recycled UPVC Windows in Preston
New PVC windows have a lifespan of 30 or 40 years and can be recycled up to ten times. Croft can therefore help to recreate windows with a 350 year lifespan. Customers can replace old windows with ‘A+’ rated energy efficient windows, meaning reduced heating bills which also helps the environment.
The old windows are then taken away by Croft to be recycled and used in secondary components for new windows or other products by specialist recycling companies who we work with. Croft is able to therefore demonstrate a commitment to energy efficiency, waste reduction and sustainable manufacture. All topics high on our agenda.
